What to know before you start
Tag turns the playground chase into a local browser round for two, three, or four players on the same device. One character is marked as the tagger; touching another player transfers that role immediately while the timer continues to count down.
The changing role keeps every player involved. A runner may spend most of the round escaping, then become the chaser in the final seconds and need a completely different route through the platforms.
How to play Tag
- Choose a local match for two, three, or four players and assign one person to each displayed key group.
- If your character is marked as the tagger, touch any other runner to transfer the role before the clock expires.
- If you are not the tagger, use platforms and stage features to keep distance without trapping yourself in a corner.
How the game works
Core gameplay
Run and jump through the shared arena, chase when marked, transfer the tag on contact, then change direction as soon as the role switches.
Objective
Avoid being the active tagger at the instant the round timer reaches zero; that player loses.
Round flow
Player-count and arena setup lead into one continuous timed chase, followed by the losing tagger and a fresh local round.
Play notes
- This is local multiplayer rather than online matchmaking, so all participants need access to the same keyboard.
